President’s Message: November 2022

We have had a good response from our recent mailing for volunteers. We are still looking for others to step up for other vital positions. VP Dave Beeman has been coordinating the volunteers. Please reach out to us to discuss how you can help our club and keep our alumni engaged.

The Scholarship committee webinar is now available. Those of you who would like to be on our scholarship committee please let me know for this information.

Betsy Grimes has been working on a special event to be held in January. She has reached out to Moeller Brew Barn in Monroe for a Meet N Greet as well. More details to follow soon.

Corey Tuck has volunteered to chair our annual away football bus trip for 2023. He has detailed information that will be shared at our next meeting. This event is our major fundraiser each year. Corey has suggested a 5K run – walk as an additional fund raiser for our Butler Co. Scholarship. If anyone has interest in helping him organize this event, please reach out to us.

Our next monthly meeting will be Wed Nov 9, at the Bourbon Kitchen on 2231 N. Verity Parkway Middletown starting at 6 pm. All are welcome.
