Aug 24, 2023| Our Annual Summer Scholarship Recognition Picnic at Warren County Armco Park was a huge success with over 50 Buckeyes present. Three out of our four scholarship winners and their families were in attendance. Vaughn Cheney, Lakota East HS, Emma Letany, Fairfield HS, Jayci Geiser, Edgewood. Kaylee Wray, Fairfield HS was unable to attend. We wish our newest Buckeyes much success as they transition to OSU this fall. Our OSU Campus Tour to the new Waterman Agricultural and Natural Resources Laboratory will be on Friday, August 11 from 11 a.m. -1 p.m. Everyone will meet at the event parking lot at 2510 Carmack Rd Columbus no later than 10:45 a.m. We will walk over to start the tour at the Controlled Environment Greenhouse facility. The cost of the tour is $10 per person. Please RSVP to me at cklong76@gmail.com by August 9. We have not planned any formal lunch get together after the tour but we will stop somewhere for those interested. Our Away Football Bus Trip will be Nov 4 vs Rutger’s through our partnership with Reynold’s Travel. Follow this link to sign up. This is our main fundraiser for our scholarship fund. We have sold the allotment of our Group Home Football Ticket’s for the October 21 Penn State Game. A tailgate is being planned. More information to follow.
